Awards

I’m honoured and humbled to be nominated for blogging recognition.

This blog isn’t about awards. It’s about us learning to understand each other better. For this reason, I’ve decided not to acknowledge each award or nomination in their own posts – but rather thank my nominators personally on their blogs and put a link to their blog on this page.

Thank you to all my nominators.

Honourable Mentions

Amy over at The World Is A Book very nicely gave me a shout out in her post WPC: Rule of Thirds. She explains why she likes reading my blog, and in particular likes reading my perspectives on sensitive cultural issues.

Kevin behind Idiot With Camera wrote about Senator Penny Wong retweeting one of my posts and the enthusiasm he sees within my blog in Day 283: When Did I Become That Guy.

  1. I’ve only been following your blog for a couple of weeks, but I enjoy your perspectives and find your curiosities both interesting and amusing. Congratulations on your successful writings; I look forward to reading more.

    • Thanks, Morgan, for the nice words. I really appreciate it. This is the first time I’ve heard someone describe my writing as amusing. Not that I mind, (I have a bit of a humorous side in person) I just find that interesting.

    • Awards are always a nice gesture. I really, really appreciate the other bloggers who thought of me. But at the end of the day, it is the conversations and interactions with bloggers that matters the most to me. You too have a good year and good luck with your writing and projects.
